On the page: http://news.google.co.nz/news?hl=en&ned=nz&ie=UTF-8&ncl=1236960922
is a list
of recent articles reporting research about domestic violence and pregnant
women.
The lead researcher is a sexist woman who lists one of her research
interests
as "Violence Against Women", so the conclusions she comes
to are
predetermined. The University which employs her is Auckland University,
which is such a mickey-mouse institution that (together with the rest
of New
Zealand's universities) it went
to court to prevent publication of its
international ranking.
It does not employ any staff whose research interests include "Violence
Against Men" (That is just a confident
prediction, not a research outcome of mine).
The research was apparently published in the Australian and New Zealand
Journal of Obstetrics and
Gynaecology, which is obviously not interested in violence against men.
There is no Australian and New Zealand Journal of Andrology (Men's
Health) -- again, that is just a confident prediction; I have not bothered
to look for one.
Journalists are incompetent and Feminist, and the above persons and
institutions are biased against men, so the anti-male tone of the news
articles is to be expected.
The finding highlighted by the news articles was that ten per cent
of
pregnant women are punched, kicked or physically abused.
Compare the webpage http://www.csulb.edu/~mfiebert/assault.htm
, which
states:
"SUMMARY: This bibliography examines 219 scholarly investigations:
170
empirical studies and 49 reviews and/or analyses, which demonstrate
that
women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in
their
relationships with their spouses or male partners. The aggregate sample
size in the reviewed studies exceeds 221,300."
Research findings depend on research questions.
If the research is directed
at demonisisng men, arousing hysteria, and increasing misplaced sympathy
for
women, then that will be the sort of questions that are asked, that
will be
the results that are obtained and that is what the media will report.
I have not yet been able to obtain a copy of the research itself, but
some
of the news articles said that some of the violence was carried out
by men
who thought they had the right to terminate the
woman's pregnancy in that
way.
TWO ISSUES:
1) Think about that: according to law,
throughout the Western World, only
the mother has the right to terminate a pregnancy. If she wants to
terminate her pregnancy, the State pays for her to have the pregnancy
terminated in hospital. If the man wants to terminate the pregnancy,
that
is called murder and domestic violence. Whose child is it? Is it only
the
mother's child? If so, why do laws force fathers to look after children
and
pay child-support?
ANSWER: Because the Western World is about
giving women whatever they want.
Women do not understand inconsistency, unfairness and self-contradiction.
All they know is their right to be spoiled and have whatever they want.
2) What about women's hormone-induced
moods and attitudes towards sex during
pregnancy and various stages of the menstrual cycle? A lot of women's
hormone-induced behaviour constitutes psychological abuse, but what
sexist,
mickey-mouse university such as Auckland University is going to pay
for
research into that?
ANSWER: None.
