POLICY

1. We believe Men's rights are equal to Women's Rights.
2. We believe the fundamental relationship in society is that when a man and woman commit to caring for each other.
3. We believe that children are nurtured when born into a family that parents them to maturity.

In recent decades powerful influences have abused these beliefs and breached Men's rights to live them.
A permanent Ministry of Men's Affairs would balance Social Policy and Law so that a better society would develop for all.
The travesty that leaves our gender without a political voice can no longer continue. Much harm has been done. Many men are no longer with us.
The future must be secured for men, their sons and grandsons.

ACTION PLAN

A. REGIONAL PIKNIX

Following the Auckland PIKNIK a membership and friends group was formed. The Co-ordinator, over the next few weeks, is going to Wellington, Palmerston north, Tauranga and Hamilton to meet with other serious masculists to set-up PIKNIKX for men who wish to support the cause. He will also be in Christchurch and Dunedin early in the New Year

If you know men in these areas who are interested in Men's rights or have suffered an injustice let the Co-ordinator have their contact details ASAP.

B. PARLIAMENTARY PIKNIK AND PETITION

Our PIKNIK will demonstrate that it is no picnic for men today. Men and Friends arrive at Parliament on Fathers' Day 2004 where protest and a petition will be presented. Then we will PIKNIK and be entertained by talented men. Although it will be Fathers' Day, a time for Fathers to relax with their families, the de-fathering of our society has become chronic and Fathers are urged to bring their sons with them to Wellington, just once, on this symbolic day.

C. MENZTRAINS (Northerner & Southerner)

On the Saturday just prior to Fathers' Day 2004, the MENZTRAINS will take members and friends from Auckland to Wellington, and from Christchurch to Picton to meet the Ferry. Suggest booking your seats towards the back of of the train to meet other masculists and for scenic enjoyment in the Observation Lounge. This could be fun. Accommodation with friends. A bunk room will be booked at Waterloo Backpackers opposite the station. Notify the co-ordinator if you wish to join a bunk room. Return at your discretion. By September 2004, Budget Flights could be seriously cheap!.

D. MAGNIFICENT SEVEN SPEAKERS

These magnificent men will lead the walk from the Railway Station to Parliament on Sunday morning. There maybe more than seven. They will present the petition. MPs and other promotion also.

E. TRAX CAFE SOCIAL

Masculists will meet from the trains, ferry etc for some serious fun and organising on Sat. nite prior to the PIKNIK. Other venues likely.

F. MEDIA CAMPAIGN

So far we have been mentioned on radio in Christchurch and in newspapers in Wellington and Auckland, along with a rising concern about Men's issues. The time is right to write to papers, magazines and phone radio to keep our cause alive. Soon, the issue will be on T.V. Are you doing anything? Good on ya mate!

G. LOBBYING MPs

The Co-ordinator has written to individuals in the political parties and received replies from most of them. They are interested except for Labour. What did you expect from a party dominated by feminists? Steve Maharey doesn't see the point.... claims we're already represented. Murray McCully wants Women's Affairs abolished. We actually want them at the table too, along with Youth and Children. Are you educating your MP? A Family or Social Policy bureaucacy is unlikely to safeguard Men's Rights either Peter. Muriel Newman has been helpful with Shared Parenting. However, John Tamihere thinks a Ministry of Men's Affairs is great. Helen will have to watch him. He has testosterone.

Our loyalty is not for sale. In the politics of opportunity we will support whoever sees our cause is just. A Ministry for Men is justified on philosophical, structural, many social issues and protection grounds. More on issues in MAGNOTZ Two.

H MAG CANDIDATES

MAG will be standing symbolic candidates at the next election in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch against appropriate females. If you wish to be considered or want to help, contact the Co-ordinator. This will be for the Ministry of Men's Affairs Party.

I PALE BLUE RIBBON APPEAL

The first Saturday next June, the winter of discontent, a national appeal to raise charitable funds to subsidise Men's prostate cancer will be conducted. This is a glaring discrepancy in health. A cheque will be presented to the Minister of Health

J SECRET STRATEGY

Can't possibly tell you or you will be shot. This can be discussed in confidence with the Stirring Committee. We are serious. It is powerful..

K WEBSITE UPGRADE

mensaffairsgroup.org.nz will be upgraded going forward. If you have expertise or suggestions, contact the Co-ordinator.

L MEMBERSHIP AND DONATIONS

If you wish to become a member or know a man who wants to, send $5.00 to Box 101780 North Shore Mail centre with contact details. Donations also welcome. This is for admin. costs and membership gives you input to the Stirring Committee.

M MAGOZ

MAGNZ is fostering trans Tasman links with our brothers over the ditch. They have already been invloved in a National Strategic Conference on Fatherhood at Parliament in Canberra. A Non-Custodial Parent Party exists too. Maybe masculism, the serious reply to feminism, will begin down under? After a hundred years or more with the vote, it's time to challenge female chauvinists.

FOOTNOTZ

SILLY FEMALE

Lynda Sutherland of the National Council of Women thinks a Ministry for Men is silliness. They are the only really disadvantaged ones she says. We have news for Lynda. It hasn't been a picnic for many men either.

TAKTIX

This is the best possible time to challenge the feminising of society i.e. when we have a feminised government. If they persist with harm to men they become culpable. The evidence is clear and substantial.
Now is the time for a fence at the top!
If we don't own our testosterone we condemn our sons and grandsons to the abuse of their rights also

Onward to the Ministry of Men's Affairs!

THOUGHT

Some work within crafting small victories
Some work without rattling cages and shouting
Some work in other ways to win

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Stirring Committee honours all the wonderful men who work for our wellbeing around the country. We also honour fellow masculists in Oz and internationally for their inspiration and help.

We feel it is time to develop a united political voice for awareness and fairness in our backyard and over the ditch.
