It sometimes astounds me that large portions of the men's movement are incredibly ignorant of the real threat they face in trying to get access to children from the family courts, or justice and equal treatment for men and children who are abused by females.

On the one side of the vast International men`s movement there are men and groups who are up to speed on the issues we face and aware of those who are trying, in every way, to thwart our efforts. On the other side there are those men and groups still appallingly ignorant about the nature and ruthlessness of the enemies of the family and men.

In the middle are the "spoilers." Spoilers are the ignorant, the stupid, those whose sole aim is to deflect the men's movement from their goals and those who will never learn, no matter how much evidence we place before them. S ome of them are the enemy, disguised as supporters.

A popular men's group here in the UK has had an enormous and very positive effect on the morale and issues facing one area of the men's movements concerns. However, with sometimes breath taking arrogance, the leaders of this movement began to put down other groups by claiming that in 18 months, they had been able to achieve things all those other groups have failed to bring about in 30 years. OK, I have no problem with the truth contained within that claim. Where I do take exception to this undignified crowing is where that crowing covers up the astonishing ignorance of the issues the leadership of this group are trying to fight.

All of those "other men's groups" reviled by these arrogant statements have spent the last 30 years gathering the information and intelligence necessary to know the nature of the enemy they are fighting. Granted, they should have long ago acted on this evidence and instead, became like rabbits caught in the headlights, just doing what they always did as the huge truck of socialism destroyed their families and encouraged abuse of their fathers and brothers. On the other hand however, the rest of the men's movement are very well aware of the nature of the threat, while this groups leadership have no idea. Yet, with all the arrogance that success can sometimes bring, they refuse to work with other groups. This has led to a "bull in a china shop" campaign based almost entirely on high profile stunts that look very good but threaten to achieve very little.

The men's movement and its vast membership must wake up and start to face some uncomfortable truths about who and what it is we are all fighting. It also needs to weed out those "spoilers" who will never accept the truth. Yes, this may mean ruthlessly trimming the membership of these groups but a dozen deeply committed men can achieve what a million armchair generals can never bring about.

Who then are the real enemy? Is it judges? Is it lawyers? Is it the press? Is it innocent politicians misled by feminists? Is it feminism itself? Who are the people behind the modern oppression of men?

The truth is its all of the above but, led by an ideology born in the 1960`s that this generation of politicians and journalists, plus many judges and lawyers grew up in. The ideology referred to has been taught in universities and colleges ever since. Law students who went on to become judges; political students, who went on to become ministers; media studies students who went on to become journalists; medical students who went on to become doctors and psychiatrists, all were soaked in the ideology of radical feminism. Now, at the peak of their professions, these people are acting on the tenets of that ideology and the results are the huge international denigration of men. Unfair divorce settlements. Fathers being ripped from contact with their children. Extraordinary injustices in domestic violence legislation that ignores the needs of millions of suffering men. One sided views on sexism. Huge disparities between the provision of men's and women's health concerns and treatment. The failing of our sons in schools and on and on.

These things are not happening in every western country in the world by accident. Neither are they happening because poor politicians are being misled. Those politicians know exactly what they are doing. They may be blinded by unwise and foolish thoughts that they are righting past injustices, but they are very well aware of what they are doing and so are all those who support their actions. They are after all, some of the most highly educated and able people on the face of the earth. Knowing this just convinces them that they are right. However, Pol Pot of the Khmer Rouge also thought he was right.

In the 1960`s radical feminism was the big political movement. Mainstream feminism suffered a take over from their more radical and Marxist "sistas." Out went the ideas of "equality" and in came the idea of revenge. These dangerous, communist inspired women carried the chips on their shoulders into the consciousness of very susceptible, young and easily led students in campuses all over the world. As the radical feminist movement grew so did its political influence and power. Their methods were simple: Promote the hatred of heterosexual men. Promote homosexuality. Shame men with constant often baseless, allegations. Attack marriage and the concept of family and remove the influence of heterosexual men over their children. Often then (as today) these women were supported by men desperate to avoid the stinging shame being falsely laid upon the shoulders of their friends. As a result, men turned against men. Today, these men are running the courts, political institutions, schools, universities and newspapers. That they have abandoned their own manhood never moves across their radar screens. They think they are liberated, in fact they are slaves.

This is what we are fighting and unless we organize and cut out the spoilers, we shall fail and all of the work we are doing today will be for nothing.

In the greatest treatise on warfare ever written, "The Art of Warfare" by Sun Tzu, (a book still studied by all western military schools today) he warns that those who fail to know the nature of their enemy will lose the war.

Sun Tzu is right. The question is, when will the whole men's movement learn that lesson and start pulling together and preaching the right message from the same sheet?
